Event Description
Mbarara University of Science and Technology and IASSIST –Africa Chapter intends to create awareness among the academia and Library staff in Research Data Management and emerging trends. The event will provide an opportunity for academic staff, Library and Information Science professional, data managers and researchers to be exposed to the concepts of designing research data management plans, data literacy and open science. The link between good research data management and promotion of scholarship in academia will be explored in the event. It is expected that at the end of this event some policy recommendations will be derived for further engagement in different universities to support and develop strong research data management domain.
